Let's accelerate future mobility together!
The Dutch Automotive industry and mobility sector operates at a high level: this is only possible by cooperation. International cooperation is crucial in this respect. Almost 90% of the value created by the Dutch Automotive and mobility industry is exported. The industry is in the midst of a large-scale transition in which sustainability and digitalization are the central themes: moving towards zero emissions, accidents and smooth transport of people and goods. These are also the leading themes in Europe.
Germany is an important trade partner for the Netherlands, and our ecosystems fit well together: Germany has large OEM and TIER1 companies, the Netherlands mainly parties that operate ‘further back’ in the chain as TIER2-3-4 parties. Together with our partners, RAI Automotive Industry NL explores a long-term strategic cooperation program to establish new relationships with German partners and to expand existing ones. IAA MOBILITY is one of the events to meet partners and achieve our common goals: more (innovation) cooperation and more trade. This is only possible with the support of many public and private partners, from Germany and The Netherlands. Participating in IAA MOBILITY is therefore not a one-off initiative, but part of a long- term strategic cooperation. I am looking forward to making this event a success, together with our partners and co-exhibitors!
